Access to Justice for Consumers. A Comparison of Alternative Dispute Resolution with Judicial Dispute Resolution for ConsumersDoes alternative dispute resolution actually serve consumer interests more than an (adapted) judicial procedure? The work analyses access to justice through the Consumer Dispute Resolution Act (»VSBG«), through the judicial process and through the interaction of the forms of dispute resolution available to consumers. In addition to the demonstration of barriers to the use of proceedings, it analyses to what extent the enforcement of substantive consumer law is guaranteed and desired.
