Right and wrong are stranger than you think.

Raphael is the holy grail of AI: a super-intelligent robot that's been programmed to be the perfect moral being. Or at least it's what Andy, its creator, believes.

But when a skiing accident leaves Andy bedridden, he learns that the robot has disappeared from its lab. It has apparently vanished into thin air, with the security cameras showing no one entering or leaving the lab.
