The assassin android Seven, driven insane by years of isolation from the Network and manipulation by her enemies, has infected every computer across North America. And now she's calculated a way to infect the minds of every neural-implant-equipped human. Her surrogates and drones stalk the streets of 99 Town and Chicago, hunting for the one man who understands her psychosis more than anyone left alive: Chuck Alawode. 

But Chuck and his wife Maggie have found a way to stay hidden, stay alive, and save what they can from the rubble of the apocalypse. That is until a group of teenagers on a quest to kill Seven drag him back into the fight. 

With the last functioning nuclear reaction on the verge of meltdown, the clock is ticking for Chuck and his new allies to mount an attack, find Seven in her most vulnerable hideout, and destroy her permanently.
