Beskrivelse

Zahra's fantasy is not just another Arab story. It's a story of love for God and man. It is a story of sexual fantasy when least expected. It captures the failings of man, sinful lusts, death and karma. It is an example of how a moment can change a life permanently, some for good and some for bad. Zahra's fantasy illustrates how someone's fallings/mistakes can lead to death of both soul and body. Zahra is an elderly Muslim woman with all the good things of life. Her life takes a twist after a strange man bumps into her in the lobby of a hotel. At 56 years she discovers sex. Though she is ridden with guilt, it all disappeared when she confided in her maid. After she has discovered sex, she is unwilling to let it go as she begins believing she has been deprived of it for a long time. Her escapes, plots and the eventual discovery that lead to the death of her husband are vividly illustrated.
