Meet Zach Dean, an on-the-run Elidhran who has successfully dodged the grasp of Lex Darko, a traveler from his world, for many years. While giving Lex the slip, Zach falls headlong into Yenna's spell-literally-and he soon realizes there is more to her than meets the eye.

Meet Yenna, an aspiring but failing witch from a long line of witches. A botched spell requesting the aid of a goddess sends Zach crashing into her circle, and while she attempts to complete a rescue mission handed to her by none other than the fey to rescue their children, she grudgingly accepts Zach's assistance on her difficult journey.

Lost fey children become the least of their worries when they are thrust into a land of unrest. Caught between two warring factions, they must accomplish their mission or risk the collapse of an entire world-and their lives.
