Yours in Ink

Just a little background on me, I have been writing since I was twelve. It started with short stories and plays using my classmates when I was in middle school. I always loved poetry, but didn't try my hand at it until 1984. I walked away from writing for almost 15 years. One of my worst mistakes EVER I felt empty. When I started writing again, it was with poems. As I began to write more and more poems, the dream of writing a novel resurfaced and with the support and encouragement of my husband, Herb, my vampire series began. Now I have more projects on my title board than I ever imagined. I LOVE it I feel alive when I write, my soul is at peace. In the pages that follow is a collection of my poetry. I have included my thoughts to go along with some of them. Remember, some of these poems were written in the 1980's and are exactly how I wrote them. They are NOT perfect, only heart-felt.
