Your President Killed America is a body of art that depicts the actions of [y]our president and the blood that shed as a result, both figuratively and literally. Burt uses vivid, life changing memories in his personal life to paint short stories of the times when a president disrespected his oath to protect and to serve. Burt uses cultivating poetry to teach and re-tell history. 'America was great when Blacks were forced to sit at the back of the bus. America was great when we shared separate fountains because Whites didn't want to drink with us.' From beginning to end he guides us through the painful truths of [y]our president, while standing in solidarity with the people of the United States of America.
