Carolyn Taylor was born to the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel and Sallie Green in Columbia, S.C. in a little neighborhood called Ridgewood on Dartmouth Avenue. There were a lot of good memories as well as bad. On this street, they had their own personal hair stylist. She could straighten your hair so well that people thought you had a perm! Carolyn grew up in a small community church on North Main Street called St Paul Baptist Church where
she remained as a faithful member until she got married and moved on. Carolyn currently attends the All Nations Church of God In Christ under the leadership of Bishop Nate' M. and Lady Tarsha Jefferson. Carolyn is married to Alexander Taylor. They have four children, 13 grandchildren and one grandchild on the way in August of 2021. Carolyn has a huge sense of humor according to her grandkids. She is known to send them corny jokes all the time in an effort to keep them laughing even in the midst of a pandemic. She has a large number of nieces and nephews. Most of them have kids and even their kids have kids. She is blessed all around. Carolyn has one brother and two sisters. All of them live in Columbia, S.C. She had one other sister and three other brothers whom she loved and missed very much. One of Carolyn's most precious memories is when she and her mother were hanging clothes on the clothes line (with wooden clothespins). Her mother asked her, "What do you want to be when you grow up?? She replied, "I don't know, but, all I want to do is take care of people." Carolyn has been doing that since the age of 13. From an early age she would sit for an hour a day, twice a week with an elderly lady down the street from her house. Carolyn loves the word of God, coffee, bowling, action movies, and any kind of activities that have to do with family. Carolyn Taylor is also an entrepreneur. Her private home care service for seniors is called Anointed 2 Touch Adult Private Duty Care. For almost 30 years, she has worked at many hospitals and assisted living facilities in and around Columbia (SC) and Lexington (SC). She worked at Lexington Hospital in the endoscopy area with wonderful nurses and doctors that took their time to make sure she felt like she was a part of the family. Carolyn loves what she does, and would not trade it for the world. The purpose of this book is to address the hopes, dreams, and passion associated with creating multiple streams of income and wealth in life.
