Beskrivelse
This is the second edition in a series of Bible Study Outlines to address the Bible-illiteracy and ignorance among professing Christians of all ages. As stated in the Teen Bible Study Outlines (the first edition) we feed our physical bodies every day, mostly two or three times a day. We need to feed our spirits and souls too, every day to prepare for eternity. The psalmist asked somewhat rhetorically, 'How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word. (Ps 119:9) He went on in verse 11 to state, 'Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I may not sin against You.' This emphasizes the necessity for our young ones to know and live the word of God. This booklet aims to inform youth of areas of the Bible necessary for them to live God-honoring lives from a young age and for the rest of their lives. It will also help the young adults to prepare for marriage which is God's plan and young parents especially to obey God's directive in Deut 6:7 to teach the Word diligently to their children, to talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down and when you rise up. King Solomon admonishes us in Ecc 12:1 to remember our Creator in the days of our youth. We therefore encourage young adults (age 20 to 39) to use these studies to hide the word in their hearts, diligently looking up each passage and imploring our teacher, the Holy Spirit to give them understanding. It is also a comprehensive resource for Sunday School Classes and Home Bible Study Groups.
