You Know My Name But Not My Story

They say the truth hurts. I beg to differ. It's the lie that hurts. The truth truly does set you free. Free to live unashamed, free to be healed, free to find your voice, free to find yourself self, free to forgive and free to be. For far too long I have lived trapped, caged, entangled and ensnared. Today I have broken the chains of bondage, freed the little girl I see staring back at me in the mirror and awaken the woman God intended for me to become. The metamorphosis has taken place, the cocoon has cracked open and the butterfly within is emerging unafraid and victorious.
