Milmon is a flying rabbit.
To him that isn't strange. After being orphaned in a flood, he found himself in Morse Grove, a community full of flying creatures. In Morse Grove, his dreams of flying were nurtured and encouraged by his friends.
It isn't until Milmon is told that rabbits can't fly that he loses his ability. He crash-lands in a town full of animals who are determined to stop him from doing something so impossible.
