If you think of yoga just as a form of exercising your body and quietening your mind, is already a big thing. To me is much more, is a life philosophy! As exercise, and as any form of mild exercise, you probably know deep in your heart, that exercise protects your body from diseases, from old age problems and dysfunctions, and keep you in good shape to face the years ahead. On top of that, it helps you sleep well, and your work becomes more productive because it sharpens your brain. You will be in good spirits and the risk of developing chronic diseases will diminish. It is a great therapy. In fact, it amazes me that when you go to see a doctor, normally he/she takes your pulse, blood pressure, listen to your lungs and in some cases, check your body temperature. In my opinion, the doctor should also add a simple question, "how much time do you dedicate every day to do exercises?" The least we can do to be out of the reach of the radar of doctors is to walk no less than five kilometers a day. It should not take longer than 20-30 minutes. This is an aerobic exercise
