Thirteen-year-old Manwel Washington dreams of playing basketball professionally and is excited to play for his high school basketball team with his best friend Jake, but his hopes are dashed because he is moving away for his mom's new job. On top of it all, a group of neighborhood bullies are claiming the local basketball court for themselves.

Manwel decides to stand up to these bullies in a 1-on-1 basketball game that will change the future for the friends he's leaving behind. But he's afraid that he's not good enough at basketball to stop them. Will faith be enough for him to stand up to these bullies once and for all?
