When Trace Scott gets the opportunity to leave New York and do an article in her hometown, she doesn't hesitate. As an investigative reporter she thinks has covered everything, but not what she's about to incur. She's tracking a story on an eccentric, retired Inventor. Black and white soon become gray on this walking enigma. Quickly the lines of professionalism are blurred, as she is pulled into his infectious personality. Has she found herself falling for a prolific killer, or is there something more sinister in play in the sleepy town?
