She studied painting and design at the Institute of Technology in Ankara. She continued her education at Ridgewood Art and Design in NJ. She studied textile design, Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. She work as a designer many years in New York. Alev paints Dancing and Imaginative Creatures. Her creatures frolic in the whimsical world of brilliant colors.
