Work For The Lord

The Collective Words of Wisdom Sermon Series is an interactive and engaging series of books that are meant to draw the reader, teacher, and/or preacher into a discussion. In Work for the Lord, you will discover ways that you can work to grow as a Christian and encourage your church to fulfil God's plan.

Without a doubt, you have probably experienced some real difficulties in the world as of late. However, faithful followers of Jesus should not allow worldly distractions to divert them away from the mission of the church which is to make disciples as Christ commanded. Believers must remain focused not only on who they are in Christ, but on the wonderful promises they have in Christ, and how we can live them out to Work for the Lord.

This book consists of seven sermons: The Finish Line, Castaway, Choices, Turning Point, Faith and Freedom, Pray for America, and Power. These sermons are designed to be a launching pad for you to learn from, create ideas, modify, and use as a basis to create your own sermons and ideas. All the books in this series contain many reflective questions and function partly as journals, making each sermon adaptive to your targeted audience.

The purpose of the Collective Words of Wisdom Sermon Series is to encourage believers to become more intentional Christians, more engaged in the word of God, and more aware of the ways in which Jesus works in our lives as well as the ways in which we can honor Him in how we live our lives. By doing this, we can grow in faith as well as discover, understand, and eventually enact our God-given purpose as Christians, which is to bring glory to God in all we do.
