Information about the author.

The book is compiled by Bertil Garpenholt, a PGA professional and mental coach. Bertil started playing golf as a teenager and received his first training from James "Jimmy" Suckling, a Scottish PGA professional and legend in Swedish golf. Jimmy taught Bertil the game where a love affair with a sport that later in Bertil's life would become his profession was born.

The traditions of the game and respect for the rules and etiquette of the game have been guiding principles for Bertil's career in golf, where Bobby Jones and Jack Nicklaus have been role models.

The idea for a book came about when a student said to Bertil, "You use quotes in your teaching, which makes the lessons interesting and entertaining, can't you publish a book with them?" That's how this book came about.
