Lyman Frank Baum penned fourteen novels in his famous Oz chronology. The first, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, was published in 1900 and introduced a legion of fans to the young Dorothy Gale, her dog Toto, and her companions, the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman, and the Cowardly Lion, as they set out in search of the Great Oz himself. This volume of Original Oz Stories is formatted not only for ease of reading, but to emulate the textual structure of that original publication.
