Women of Color is a collection of stories that covers a variety of experiences surrounding colorism by six Black women who grew up in single-parent and two-parent households. Each beautifully written story will invite you into a world that shaped the challenges and difficulties of each unique writer. You will hear from these women individually as they share their stories of shame, pain, rejection and resilience.As you dive into reading the many different topics covered in Women of Color, there might be some unintentional offenses-but there is also necessary healing that took place over the years.
