Womanish is a compilation of women confessing and sharing. They all have a shared mentor who connects them though they do not share stories. There is also a 'Fictionalized Truth' short story. The women are all flawed women who more than anything want to love and be loved and valued as the imperfect women they are... by someone. Often when they do not fully love themselves.
