Woman EX

In his book, Woman EX, author of speculative fiction, R?al Laplaine, inspired by the #metoo movement, presents a near-future world, one where the tables have been completely turned. A near miss with nuclear war, followed by an apocalyptic event when an asteroid strikes the Earth and releases a pathogen buried for eons beneath the Arctic ice, men are suddenly dying off by the millions. Meanwhile, a crew of astronauts, headed by Captain Tanner McNeal, who launched on a sixteen-year mission to Jupiter's moon, return to Earth and discover the new "utopia". Jim and his men are arrested and forced into labor, while the women in his crew are integrated into the New America. What ensues is a thriller to the end, as Tanner and his crew eventually organize a revolt against the regime, and its President, Lady V. As the revolution gains momentum, they soon discover that pockets of resistance exist amongst women too, who befriend them and join the campaign to restore balance again. What they do not know is that Lady V, New America's President, has been developing a secret weapon, one that will obviate the need for men ever again, and that weapon is Woman EX.
