In Hamilton, Wyoming a woman is shot and killed leaving her two young children with their abusive father. However the townspeople step up to protect the children. Meanwhile across the country Helen's sister Jill is in trouble and needs to disappear, but isn't sure where she can go. Will she run to her sister for help?
