Aim to be wise, and you will become powerful.
To be powerful does not guarantee wisdom. There have been many idiots in power throughout history. The Bible records that David was wise, but his son Absalom was foolish. Wisdom is not inherited. You seek wisdom by asking for it and once you acquire it, you begin to soar like an eagle.
Being wise is better than being strong; yes, knowledge is more important than strength. After all, you must make careful plans before you fight a battle, and the more good advice you get, the more likely you are to win. Wise sayings are too deep for stupid people to understand.
With wisdom, you will understand all threats to your power, position, or authority simply because you understand the nature of people, this complex life, and the ways of the world.
Remember the word of God says though we are in this world, but yet not of this world. To win, achieve, and navigate life will require wisdom, not necessarily power.
Power without wisdom, you will quickly learn all that is mentioned above, but there is no guarantee that your power, position, or authority will remain yours after you learn it.
