Winning Quigley Over

Quigley was an irascible Shepherd-mix canine who took his job of guarding the woman I hoped to marry more seriously than I could have ever imagined at first. Winning Quigley Over was going to take a serious commitment on my part, and he would not make it easy. Quigley was, in fact, the most rascally, obstinate, dog I ever knew. He made an impression on all who knew him that would last a lifetime.
