Beskrivelse
Do you believe in such a simple thing as fate? That the stars can bring you together with someone else in this world that is meant for you and only you?
Five years have passed since Elmery, Owel, and Willow started Blanche's Haven for tribeless Fae in the middle of Foxlorn Forest. It's been a peaceful five years for the Haven's residents, not a thing has gone awry since the magic has been placed around the forest, keeping the humans out.
That hasn't stopped Willow from giving her all during training every morning and night. She has learned from the best, Owel and Kestrel being her mentors throughout the years. Her life in the Haven so far has been good, but not exactly what she's envisioned. She wishes to be equals with her mentors and for the people in her life to take her seriously as a Haven warrior, but instead, she's still treated like a child by the Haven's residents and her new found Fae family.
One night, out of nowhere, fire erupts around Foxlorn Forest and the Haven's residents rush to put it out. Willow, being the fine warrior that she is, doesn't hesitate in the slightest to save her home. A strange flash of bright orange out the corner of her eyes and Willow pounces, landing on the very hard flesh of a man with fire for hair, glowing lava pools for eyes, and flashing tattoos that swirl around his entire body.
Everyone else's touch to the strange fiery man sends them off in burning pain but Willow, with her healing abilities, doesn't feel the burn from the strange fire-man. Since she is the only one who can touch him, she's now tasked with escorting the fiery Fae to the Seelie Court to be judged for his actions but the pull she senses from him is distracting. She loses herself over to her mind and finds her body doing things out of her control.
How will she ever get him to the Seelie Court if she can't even trust her own body anymore?
We visit with old friends and meet new ones in the sequel to Wings Of Silence, a fae romance.
