Dunya is only 11 years old when faced with a horrific crisis in her home village in the northern state of Rakhine, Myanmar. Her older brother Deen is nowhere to be found. After the attack, she is separated from her favourite sibling.
Fourteen-year-old Deen suddenly finds himself without family, without citizenship and without a place to call his own. He must remain calm and practical to seek justice for his people, the Rohingya.
Through truth and reconciliation, Deen makes a commitment to honour his little sister, Dunya.
