Three unrelated families had more toworry about than just the storm. They had to weather both thestorm and an accident to survive. The story has steady pacing,distinctive and interesting characters, and a plot that often left mewondering what would happen next. The characters' struggles andthe suspenseful plotline kept me on my toes as I read deeper intothe tale. I appreciated the short aside from the author in which hetells of his experience regarding Cyclone Yasi and the pictures inthat chapter helped me visualize what the characters in the storyhad gone through during and after the storm. In the final parts ofthe book, the author has also added a section entitled 'The Art ofRoad Use' which gives useful advice on how to handle variousconditions and unexpected events while driving. I learned a lot andam thankful for the lessons I have taken away. This book alsodemonstrates the fury of mother nature, and it reminds us that wecan never predict what the future might hold.
