Why Work?

The book explains the major entitlements and tax breaks that impact U.S. citizens and residents, and explains how increasing income can reduce standard of living. The book explains how lower income households can actually have a higher standard of living than households with $20,000 to $30,000 more income. It includes a federally favored activities and planning section, where information is provided on how to best manage one's financial affairs in light of the current system. The major entitlements are explained, including employer and individual requirements under "Obamacare." The book provides evidence of the results, and places them in easy to read charts and graphs.
