Beskrivelse
This book is about an Individual Education Plan (IEP) I had as a high school student and my journey in being torn down and being told I couldn't do and ended up achieving. This book is also greatly recommended for those looking for inspiration to never give up and to continue pursuing their dreams and goals.
Being a high schooler isn't easy. Going through the troubles of being the odd one out doesn't make the situation any better. As of the story of Maria Espejo, going through the journey of misclassification in the school system only makes things even more complicated. When all this passes, the daunting moments start dangling over her head in fear of creeping back. When members of the child study teach and the board of education become her worse nightmares, she starts taking matters into her own hands and goes through the process of learning to accept that sometimes the best thing to do is take pride in the past and accept that it happened and move on with your head held up high.
