Why Did This Happen?

People ask why all the time, everywhere.

Why did this happen, why is this happening,

how is it even possible for this to be happening to me?

We exclaim confusion and disbelief without assessing the facts,

we often conclude that there is no plausible answer and

ascribe occurrences to mythical powers outside our control.

However, when we take a closer look, there is always an answer.

It might not be one we much like, but it does exist.

In essence, things usually happen because they can.
