Whose Unconscious Is It?

This academic work presents a detailed critique of Freud and the movement "neuropsychoanalysis," which attempts to legitimate Freud using neuroscience. However, examining evidence from biology and neuroscience, both the claims of Freud and his disciples are apparent as illegitimate claims. This work is an intellectual exercise in peer-reviewing Freud and contemporary scientific journal articles; it approaches philosophy, but is nonetheless still merely science.
