Jolie Johnson lives on the family farm she moved to twenty years ago when she married the love of her life. Even though Riley had been twenty-six years older than her, from the moment they met, they just knew they were meant for one another, and they had it all until a cancer diagnosis stole him from her three years ago. Jolie is now a fifty-nine-year-old Widow trying to work the farm, maintain the large farmhouse, plant her crops, and try to keep the animals in their pens. Their son Jonathan helps as much as possible while still trying to finish his agricultural college degree. Jolie struggles to get from one day to the next without her husband. She knows her; he wants her to move forward, but she finds it too difficult.
