Jonas is dying. He has been mortally wounded by an underdemon and Emma and their friends are the only ones who can save him. But Emma has to summon the next Stormdragon before its too late. And all the while, Stilth's demon of the skies approaches... New characters come to the sibling's aid, but they carry secrets that might be the kingdom's undoing. In real life, Jonas feels like he's dying as well. His mother denies him his desire to be homeschooled so that he can watch over Emma. Tensions rise between them and his father remains aloof and indecisive. Jonas wants his family to stay together, but the strain of it might be more than he can handle. He pours his frustrations into his story, giving Emma a life of danger and adventure she could never have. In this third book of the Jonas Flash Chronicles, Jonas's story continues as terrifying creatures close in upon them, but the echoes of their past may be their greatest battle yet.
