Where the Mountains Kiss the Sky

The land west of the Mississippi River during the late 1800's was a harsh and unforgiving place, and even more so were the people who lived there. Former partner of Billy the Kid and outlaw Kade Burdette is widely known and feared for his reckless ways and deadly speed with a gun. Despite his reputation, Adelaide Montgomery can't help but wonder if there is some good left in him, especially when he risks his life to save hers; twice.
