Why did I write Where are you roaming? the volume 2 of Louise Saint-Quentin? Because neither I nor Mistress Mine's readers wished this story to end 1899, Louise is now thirty-nine. She has spent the last twenty years of her life in Australia. What has happened to her in all that time? Why pick up her life again in 1900? Louise has founded a family, but have all the ties she has built up stood the test of time? A terrible event has happened which is to lead her to have exciting adventures around the world. Louise is to leave Silverdale and the cattle station behind to go to Paris and London.
