The Guardians are the ancient protectors of the forest and all that is in it. They also protect men and others in the realm. Jak discovers an infant born without eyes. As a GUardian he must protect her. The story of Jak the Guardian and this baby born without eyes that he takes as his own involves love and loss, war and peace and both of their rise to prominence. Each will forge his or her own history as Guardians of the forest.
