When Kings were born season 1: Kings were born and not made: This is a touching real-life story of a little slave boy who later become a King and ruled the people that sold him into slavery. This is a drama book depicting all that happened in the life of this little boy who became the favorite among the slaves to the extent that his slave masters pitied him and did not send him to the port of no return in the medditerian Sea. This book contains all you need to know about African culture, tradition, music, and the way of life of the people of Okwelle, a village in the southeastern protectorate of the British colonial system in Nigeria. This book is highly recommended for people from the civilized nations of the world who are interested in learning about the way of life and tradition of the African people before 1900. And also, black Africans or African Americans who might want to dig deep into African history, culture, and music. The book was written in a typical movie/drama style with a lot of traditional music, songs, and traditional musical instruments thereby bringing the real true story of the little slave boy by the name Ekwebelem who later became an empire wealthy King of Okwelle Kingdom. One would expect he was going to revenge but he considered that had he not been sold into slavery he wouldn't have become the empire King of Okwelle.
This book is a masterpiece written with a movie plot that depicted what life was like before, during, and after the colonial masters. Those in the Western world might not know what life was like in the African remote villages during the 17th and 18th centuries hence this book is loaded with a lot of culture, traditions, and music that you might find absurd perhaps not but it will be a real-life experience if you happen to grab this book no matter what part of the world you are from. It will be very interesting to purchase this book especially if you are white and from the developed Western world hence this is an opportunity to read a true life story that depicts the history of the Okwelle Kingdom, a kingdom that was tormented by spirits which Ekwebelem the slave boy delivered them from by simply educating them that those things they called spirits were con men who always come to the Ekego market to torment and steal their produce. The braveness in Ekwebelem made him solve the mystery of the tormenting spirits and was later made a King for life for him and his descendants in return for arresting and exposing these con men.
The book was written in seasons and acts and will continue to run in cinemas for a long time. I strongly recommend you purchase this book and look out for it in the cinemas.
