Beskrivelse
Lopez, an educator who has worked with migrant children in public schools for many years, offers a study of three fifth-grade migrant boys during an apple harvest season in south central Pennsylvania. She explores their lives as they interacted in their families and friendships, and with their teachers, and classmates. Particularly she shows how their perfectly fine discourses were overpowered by the dominant ones as soon as the entered the classroom.
