Tam.
Now that his youngest brother had finally got them all to Sand Dune Bay, life should have been getting better. Sand Dune Bay was a paradise. He had a home on the beach, and his family safe, that should have been all he needed. It would have been all he needed if it hadn't been for the face he scented his mate the night he arrived in the Bay. That was a month ago. His mate had walked away without saying a word. It was obvious that he didn't want anything to do with him. Didn't want to talk to him. But he can't keep away. Tam can sense him when he walks into the forest behind the house every morning. The man watches him from afar, just staring at him. It's probably for the best.
Tam had spent his whole life getting told by his father that he was useless because he was deaf. Obviously, his fated one felt the same way.
Aaron.
Getting the gift of a mate at a young age should have been a blessing. It was a blessing, it would have been a blessing to anyone else. Hell, it would have been a blessing to him if the shifter hadn't been a lion. There was no way that his parents would accept him being mated to a lion. Not after everything they had been through because of one. They had lost family, lost a place to live, lost a pack. A lion hunting and killing their pack was the reason they had sought refuge in Sand Dune Bay. No, there was no way they were going to just accept his mate. But that still wasn't going to stop Aaron from trying to make it happen. What other choice did he have? The man was his fated one.
This is the second book in the MM paranormal romance series.
