Wheels refers to the musical tours on bike of the cellist Ida Riegels. The theme is based on the letters d a e g e s (e-flat) in Ida Riegels.Performance requires creating motives, variations, or improvisations by which the piece takes on colors of personalities, qualities of instruments, time, and place. Wheels paves the way for different interpretations and can be understood physically and metaphysically.
