Making unexpected detours in life is always, well, unexpected. It also delays the process and direction in which God wants to take us, especially when were running from God out of fear or stubbornness. However, God is still faithful to his Word in our own mess.
We can all turn back to God because his arms are always open with grace and mercy. Whatever fish we face, whether it is out of our own disobedience or its just a storm in life, we are never alone. God will be right there waiting and even guiding us through our storm.
In the midst of our storm, we will often find ourselves giving sweet praise of thankfulness. This does not come easy, but it is necessary if we want to move forward in Gods will. This often comes when we are at a place of humility and a coming of our own.
