What We Leave Behind

Julia Pearson's entire life has revolved around her husband and the life they planned together. When he dies unexpectedly, Julia is left to pick up the pieces and contemplate a world and a state of being for which she is unprepared. She meets a photographer, Paul Westin, a decade younger than she, who not only helps her to emotionally recover from the death of her husband, but who introduces her to a group of people who encourage her to reinvent herself. Together they try to make sense out of a chaotic and unpredictable world wherein the only thing we can control is what we leave behind us after we die.
