Beskrivelse
Currently in the public hospitals of the state of Táchira, there is a lack of socio-environmental management for solid waste management, since the managers do not apply norms of control, evaluation of results and statistics are not registered; there is no team work; continuous changes of managers and members of the board of directors; there is no socio-environmental culture; there are no devices for the storage and management of solid waste; there are no adequate areas for the management and security of solid waste and lack of economic resources destined for solid waste. In view of these situations, the aim is to generate a theoretical model of socio-environmental management for the management of solid waste in public hospitals type I, II and IV in the state of Táchira, from the perspective of medical managers. The conclusion of this research is that the managerial practice reached a convergence in the new conceptual plane, which potentially establishes the symbiosis between the ideology of solid waste management and the theoretical postulates of socio-environmental management.
