Beskrivelse
In 1964, a young Alaska Native named Jenny Adjuk mysteriously fell to her death from the roof of the Elmer Lee House, an infamous boarding school in Silver Lake, Alaska. The school was closed and abandoned shortly after. Sixty years later, college journalism student Mare Mason comes across Jenny's story. When she learns the school's new owners have reopened Lee House, branding it as a haunted hotel, she applies for a job intending to debunk their tales of ghosts while publicly accusing them of exploiting Jenny's tragic death. Former social media sensation Kat Howard has also accepted a position at the new Lee Hotel. Kat wants little more than to escape her old life and believes that connecting with Jenny's spirit could be the key to exorcising her own demons. From the outset, it's clear to both women that they have little in common, and yet they must admit all is not as it should be at the hotel. Odd sounds radiate from the walls. Kat has visions of Jenny's ghosts. A murder occurs in nearby Denali National Park. Some disapproving townspeople seem to think the Lee House ghost is responsible. Mare and Kat can't agree. Can they set aside their differences, acknowledge their attraction to one another, and figure out what's going on?
