This is Billie’s story, from her life growing up on the family farm in New Zealand, her years as a dedicated nurse, her penchant for travel and her marriages, first to a psychopath and then to a compulsive gambler. Billie turned her hand to many occupations during their constant moves as she tried to raise her family during difficult times and situations.

So we packed up Father’s new straw hat

Travelling through England, Europe, Asia and Australia, Billie and daughter, Kim, performed in front of high-ranking officials and as a support act to many prominent entertainers. Billie’s struggle through adversity shows she is a true survivor.
