INTRODUCTION

The author lives in the US southwest and has visited most of the sites in this book. He has over the past several years produced some 40 travel guide books, many of which are of the western states. In these books he has included a section or chapter on Native American ruins and peoples, and this book is the product of each of those chapters combined.

Native America has its laws and you need to understand each and obey each. The Southwest states also have their laws and their traffic laws that are somewhat different from what you might expect. This book includes some of this information that you will need.

Finding Native American ruins can be a challenge. This travel guide helps make it easy in that it contains directions from many of the major highways to the major sites that many tourist want to visit.
