The son of an abusive father, and a recovering alcoholic himself, Bishop Sean Foley is no angel. But now, the ultra-conservative Cardinal Nwadike has summoned him to Rome, looking for any excuse to remove him from office.



Not only is his position as bishop threatened, and with it his outreach to at-risk LGBTQ youth, but his vocation as a priest is also on the line. Even Lujo, Sean's powerful ally and the love of his life, can only watch from the sidelines as the Inquisition unfolds.
