Still hurting from a painful divorce, Brian Kirpatrick returns to Ohio for his 20th high school reunion, determined to resolve a mystery that has haunted him since the summer night he and his teenage friends explored an abandoned mansion and encountered an evil so incomprehensible that they fled in terror, promising never to speak of the incident again.
