Beskrivelse
The book deals with the origin and development of the concept of person / legal entity within the Islamic history of ideas. By means of a discourse analytical approach, the author considers the question of the notion of legal addressee within the classical Islamic law and its reflection in the wake of its socio-political changes. Thereby the author attempts to establish the view that with the aid of an analytical and dissecting consideration and comparison of the German-European and Islamic concept of "legad addressee" and by the decomposition of its main features, many similaritie can be found in their fundamental elements. This can reach the result that both figures can meet the same "main features" that appear as indispensable for the promotion of the general freedom of modern man. The study can therefore be on interest for both jurists and legal philosophers, as well as for Islamic scholars.
