Volcano Village and Its Environs

No one knows for sure - exactly when the very first inhabitants settled in the region, home to the rainforest area that would eventually come to be known as Volcano aka Volcano Village. But one thing is for sure... this district, along with most of the rest of Hawaii island had an idyllic climate, natural beauty, an abundance of food, bountiful water, teeming sea life, all the necessary resources to flourish.
